A lot of practices treat symptoms. We're more interested in the whole person behind them.
The Sōma Collective was built on the belief that healing isn't about fixing — it's about connecting and discovering. What sets us apart isn't just what we offer, but how we hold the work: at your pace, honoring your story, with genuine respect for your innate wisdom and capacity for growth.
Our approach blends clinical depth with nervous system awareness, somatic attunement, and a relational style that gives you radical permission to show up exactly as you are. Whether you're navigating a major life transition, recovering from burnout, or carrying something you've never quite put into words, we're here to walk beside you — not direct you.
Founded by Shannon Daidone, LCPC — with over a decade of experience across nonprofit, school-based, and leadership settings — The Sōma Collective was created to fill a gap she kept seeing: care that goes deeper than symptom management, and honors the body, the story, and the soul.
This is care that honors your humanity. This is healing as homecoming.

The Sōma Collective offers four core services, all grounded in whole-person care, nervous system awareness, and relational depth:
Individual Therapy — A supportive space for adults to build self-understanding, develop coping skills, and navigate life transitions. Sessions are currently offered virtually (in-person coming soon), using a humanistic and somatic approach integrated with traditional evidence base modalities as needed. Focus areas include anxiety, depression, OCD, LGBTQ+ affirming care, and life transitions.
Organizational Wellness Consulting — Custom workshops, trainings, and leadership consulting for mission-driven teams and organizations. Sessions are available virtually or on-site and are tailored to your workplace culture with a trauma-informed, evidence-based approach.
Independent Psychological Evaluations — Clinically grounded evaluations for personal injury attorneys and legal teams, assessing the psychological and emotional impact of injury or significant life events. These are private-pay, attorney-retained services and are distinct from forensic assessments.
Clinical Supervision — A reflective space for counseling students and LPCs to deepen their clinical voice, strengthen boundaries, and grow with intention. Currently offered virtually, with in-person coming soon.
Not sure which service is the right fit? Reach out — we're happy to help you find your way in.

Warm, unhurried, and genuinely collaborative — that's the best way to describe it.
From the very first conversation, our goal is for you to feel like you can exhale. There's no pressure to have it all figured out before you walk in. You don't need the right words, a clear diagnosis, or a tidy explanation of what's wrong. You just need to show up — and we'll figure out the rest together.
Sessions are grounded in curiosity rather than judgment. We'll explore what's beneath the surface — the patterns, the stories, the places where you've learned to go quiet — and work at a pace that feels safe and sustainable for you. Clinical tools and evidence-based approaches are woven in naturally, but the relationship always comes first.
You can expect honesty, warmth, and a space where your full humanity is not just welcomed — it's the whole point.
Whether you're brand new to therapy or have done this before, The Sōma Collective is designed to feel less like an appointment and more like coming home to yourself.

The first session is less about diving deep and more about getting to know each other. We'll talk about what's bringing you in, what you're hoping for, and what's felt hard or helpful in the past. Think of it as a conversation, not an assessment — a chance for both of us to get a feel for the fit.
As for how long therapy lasts, it really depends on you. Some people come with a specific goal in mind and find a few months is enough. Others are looking for longer-term support as they navigate ongoing growth or deeper patterns. There's no prescribed timeline here — we'll check in regularly and let your needs guide the pace.
-
Yes — what you share in therapy stays in therapy. Confidentiality is a cornerstone of the therapeutic relationship, and we take it seriously. There are a few legally mandated exceptions (such as if there is imminent risk of harm to yourself or others, or in cases of suspected abuse), but these are rare and we'll always talk through them with you openly. If you have specific questions about privacy, don't hesitate to ask — we'd rather you feel fully informed and at ease before we even begin.
